Juan M. Conde, Co-Founder | Director

Founder, Director & Co-Owner

Juan Conde is the Founder, Director, and Co-Owner of Titan Property Advisors LLC, where he combines his background in communications, public relations, and business development with a growing commercial real estate practice. Drawing on decades of experience building relationships throughout Central Virginia, Juan works closely with buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, investors, and business owners to facilitate successful commercial real estate transactions.

Before entering commercial real estate, Juan spent more than two decades as an award-winning journalist and evening news anchor for WRIC-TV 8 in Richmond. Throughout his broadcasting career, he reported on the region’s business, government, economic development, and community issues, earning a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and trusted communication.

Juan’s experience in journalism developed skills that translate directly to commercial real estate, including negotiation, strategic communications, conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, consensus building, and problem solving. His ability to communicate effectively, understand diverse perspectives, and build lasting relationships provides significant value to clients navigating complex real estate decisions.

At Titan, Juan leads the firm’s communications, marketing, public relations, business development, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. His extensive network of relationships throughout Virginia, combined with his understanding of the region’s business community and commercial real estate market, strengthens Titan’s ability to connect clients with opportunities and deliver practical, client-focused solutions.

Juan earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Information Technology Management from Western Governors University and previously studied Mass Communications, Radio & Television, and Visual & Performing Arts at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Juan’s professional background has been mass media. For the last two decades he’s been a journalist, anchoring evening newscasts for WRIC TV-8, the Richmond market’s ABC affiliate. Juan Conde first joined 8News in the early 1990s while he was an on-air personality doing the 6-10am morning drive show at WCDX, a popular Richmond radio station. Also, while employed there, he worked as an 8News Weekend Weather Anchor and part-time as an Entertainment Reporter with a segment called the The Buzz for about 18 months as well.

In 1999, Conde was poised to leave radio after ten years for real estate. But WRIC beckoned again, this time with a chance to anchor evening newscasts. For the next 22 years, Conde would cover some of the most compelling stories of the day including the 9/11 attacks, the Interstate 95 Sniper Shootings, Hurricane Isabel, Tropical Storm Gaston, and the massacre at Virginia Tech. Conde also co-anchored live, continuous coverage of many incidents over a 20+ year career.

The business of journalism is the business of problem solving. Juan’s experience includes: managing personnel and resources, logistics, writing and editing, conflict resolution, consensus building, public relations, and working effectively in high-pressure environments under inflexible deadlines.

With 20+ years of experience reporting on the region’s business, government and development, Juan has a unique perspective on economic progress in the area, a strong network of active contacts, a deep understanding of business opportunities and diversity across Central Virginia, and what he treasures most – trust and goodwill in the city he has called home for more than 30 years.

Conde’s new career in commercial real estate, the business that eluded him so long ago, is as a commercial real estate advisor where he works with local, statewide, and regional business clients. He has become very knowledgeable about the supply and demand of properties in the commercial real estate sectors of retail, office and industrial in Central Virginia. Now, with the changing marketplace landscape, the former anchorman and journalist interviews and queries to anchor tenants!

Mr. Conde is responsible for communications, marketing, public relations and business development. Juan has a high level of language and communications skills to deal with clients confidently and courteously, and he attentively listens to and understands their problems and concerns regarding their real estate needs. Messaging, tone and understanding his audience are all important to Juan and he uses these skills to work with customers and clients, most of whom work in small and medium-size retail, office and manufacturing companies. Juan is often able to work towards a speedy and positive resolution. He is highly adaptable and is able to think on his feet.

Juan is very capable of handling pressure situations and trying circumstances. Moreover, he has great empathy and the ability to put himself in his client’s shoes. By virtue of his exceptional ability to connect and communicate with people, he is a formidable advocate in all their real estate dealings.

Recent clients include representing a retail shop (with their lease negotiation for their location) in the Carytown Area/Museum District. Juan was also instrumental in the negotiation of a 10,000 square foot lease for a discount retailer on Broad Street. Additionally, he was involved with helping the growth of a local specialty furniture company sign a lease in the West End.  Importantly, Juan  recently represented Rep. Jennifer McClellan in finding her congressional district office location in the Central Business District (CBD) in record time.

Juan Conde has cultivated a reputation for trustworthiness, reliability, and admiration. Moreover, he is renowned for his altruistic contributions to society. For the past thirty years, he has appeared at numerous local schools, charities, and civic organizations, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to public service. In addition, Juan is not only a committed community leader but also a skilled mediator, proficient in facilitating mutual comprehension and consensus among individuals and entities. These proficiencies translate into immediate benefits for his clients, whether they are buyers, sellers, lessors, or lessees.

Before Juan came to Richmond in the late 1980s, he lived in many places, growing up in Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Arlington, Alexandria and Frederick, Maryland. He was a standout graduate of T.C. Williams High School (Remember the Titans!), now called Alexandria City High School. After high school, he attended The College of William & Mary, a premier public research university recognized for their outstanding academic reputation, beautiful campus and vibrant community in Williamsburg, Virginia.

He eventually transferred to Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in RVA where he studied mass communications, radio & TV and visual and performing arts. Juan’s interest in the arts led him to study acting with Janice Fronczak and Janet Wilson. More recently, he was an alumnus of improvisation classes at Richmond’s Coalition Theatre.

Juan also spends time cultivating business relationships doing projects like podcasts, radio shows, voiceover work and film acting throughout the United States. Outside of work, most of his free time is spent reading, writing and riding his motorcycle(s).  He also enjoys traveling and visiting family and friends who live in New York, Virginia, Florida, Puerto Rico and England. Juan is a recent newlywed getting hitched in late 2022 to his lovely wife, Nannette.
